Strategy time was now a-foot as Kayla sat down at a table with a cup of coffee. She took a sip of the hot coffee and gently set it back down. She looked around and then looked back down at the table. She needed to think of a strategy for Lady's Secret and learn how to put her in the best position on the track. Her gray filly was the daughter of Secretariat and her Grandsire was Bold Ruler, Secretariat's own sire of course. She took another sip of coffee as she looked out the window. She imagined the great Secretariat with his daughter by his side, neck-and-neck to the wire, together- proving their courage and heart. Kayla was now lost in a dream she never wanted to wake up from it. A slight drizzle was flowing down the windows of the Cafe'. Not the perfect time to race Lady's Secret. She valued that horse so much. If Lady was put down from a broken leg, she didn't know what she would do. She had the last tie from Secretariat and Bold Ruler. She then took another sip of coffee, awaking from her dream. The coffee was now only warm and not hot like she liked it. She put her cup back down and glanced around again. She sighed as she started to think of a strategy again.
