Name:Nicanor Age:2 Breed:Thoroughbred Color:Bay Markings:Star and Stripe Height: 16.2 Occupation: Racing;; Soon to be stud. Gender:Colt. Personality:He is fiesty, testy, and a show off. He'll rear at the starting gate, kick out and throw a fit till he's enclosed there. He has a strong will to run and a strong competitive side. History:Nicanor the son of the sire Dynaformer and the dam La Ville Rouge, which makes him a full brother of Barbaro, which makes him the horse to watch. There may well be a future Triple Crown winner out there in the blue grass pasture, but all eyes are hopefully on this one horse. As for Nicanor, there is the undeniable fact that history has not been kind to the siblings of champions. Nobody remembers Secretariat's sister or whether Seattle Slew had a brother. And the folks at Tempered Ridge acknowledge that fact. Though Nicanor is growing strong, he's just now able to show the world, what a future champion is about. Pic:

Yes I know that Barbaro had broken his ankle, I watched the whole thing. And it is sad, though I still don't know why they had to put him down. It would've healed eventually, and even after it did all they had to do was make sure to keep his leg wrapped and supported. - le sigh -.

ooc. From what I heard, Barbaro had gotten to the point where he could barly support himself, even after they took the long cast off, and put the short one on, and beside's that, the injury was quite sever, they had to put a metal rod in his leg, with screws to keep it in place, and his owners thought it was his time, sense they tried all they could, but Barbaro said it was time by how he acted.
