Registered Name: Sjerko Age: 2 Breed: Thoroughbred Color: Dark Bay Markings: None Height: 16.3h Occupation: Racing Gender: Filly
The voice of the loud speaker crackled as he finished with the last horse of the day. Then a man gave him a tag of a filly that hadn't been called for. The filly was being sold by the owner and was giving the jockey also with her and also a faithful stablehand.
Sorry folks we have a last minute horse named Sj...jerko. Sjerko ladies and gentleman. She lost her first race and ran without preperation. This little filly can run like the devil. The owner sadly needs to give her up. Upon buying this filly you also buy yourself a nice jockey and stablehand both the same person of course. This filly looks almost blacker than the sky at night without stars. She is a dark bay and quiet a looker.
Okay so the starting bid is 15,000! Do I hear 15,00?
Rebecca slowly led out the wild looking filly in her nice english halter and not the rope one the filly loved to wear. The filly stepped lightly and cautiously at the end of the lead as Rebecca whispered to her the filly calmed down. The barn owner of the filly had found the filly and girl and almost had her arrested and then thought to sell the filly so the girl would leave him alone.
The dark bay filly was quiet a looker catching people's eyes. The filly didn't want to leave but then the auction man told her to let the filly run free to stretch her legs to show the people.
Rebecca did as told and the filly took off in a quick gallop around the ring.

Laura
The well-known trainer watched as the dark bay filly paraded around the auction ring at a swift gallop. Only one race, and she'd come dead last. Not to promising. And probably not worth 15 thousand, either. but since the jockey would come as an added bonus, Laura was willing to give them a shot. Maybe. She'd wait a bit, to see if the price lowered. Ten thousand and she would definitely go for it. Maybe even twelve. But with little money to spare, fifteen thousand was pushing it, especially on an unproved filly. She was swift, with nice conformation, but Laura still decided to go with her gut. Wait for the price to drop, then take her.

I don't want to leave. Never I can't.I'll run my hardest Becka. I promise..... that is what the little filly though. She felt unloved and betrayed but then she turned her head into the ring and saw a tear falling from Rebecca's face. Rebecca looked around the ring and saw a girl who looked like she wanted the filly. Then the auction man shook his head and said Do I hear....5,000$! 5,000! Do I hear 5,000!? Such and incredible down in her pricing but no one was to blame the filly didn't try because she had little training and wasn't a great one. Now both filly and girl were for sale for 5,000.

Elizabeth wandered towards the filly watching the horses mane and tail waving the the wind. She raised her hand. "$5,000" She liked what she saw, even though the horses records were not up to par. She still thought she saw a lot of herself in the filly. And she knew she could help her.

The filly desperately ran around the arena in panic and started bucking and then the auction man yelled Do I hear 6,000!? he repeated it a while before people starred and he fell silent. The female stood by the side behind and gate yelling to the filly but her voice was trampled by everyone around her. She had been kept to the side so the filly could show off.

Elizabeth knew the situation looked bad. the filly was freaking out, due to the many people. She quietly manuvered up to the auctioneer. "Shouldn't someone take that filly and calm her down? Or at least have those closest to the filly hold her for the public to see? She seems a little panicky. She could fall and injure herself, then she wouldn't be fit to be up for auction." Elizabeth suggested respectfully.

The girl made a point so he pointed to the blonde girl yelling for the filly near the gate below. He gave her instructions and without thinking the girl ran into the arena and hugged the filly who had halted squarely and the girl started yelling at the man and Rebecca said This is over! The filly gave a horse sigh and was happy I am glad that was over. The filly's eyes were a tad glossy and now people could go into the stables and take a look at the horses.

Elizabeth smiled inwardly, glad she could help. She tried catching the girl's eye, aware of how much that horse must mean to her. She still couldn't keep her ice blue eyes off of that wonderful, eye-catching filly, and knew that, if she were ever to own her, she might be a champion yet! The jockey seemed to have a close bond with the horse, so that would help a lot too.

The jockey lost the first race and placed second in the filly's only races and those were horrible it was also because Rebecca hadn't been used to the track or surroundings and couldn't find a sponsor or owner for the filly so she frauded names of an owner. The filly meant the world and universe together and much more. The filly had undiscovered talent but the girl was afraid to show anyone but one man had seen it and that had been her grandfather who was at the auction that day and had just arrived. Her saw the filly do a mile and a half in a minute and seven seconds. The filly's stride was short in the arena but the girl had taken her onto the auction track and the filly's stride was large and smooth and the girl thought she was alone so she galloped and went fast.

Elizabeth was still trying to catch the girl's eye, but she meandered over to the filly. "She is beautiful." she commented, stroking the mare's sleek neck.
