His dam Sea La Saint Bay only had 12 starts, but amazingly she got 1st in everyone of them, along with that she's broke two racing records, and sense then only one other horse has had such an impressive record.
The auctioneer stuttered as he said the horse's information over the loud speaker, everything about him seemed perfect, well at least mostly everything. The registration papers said nothing about the place he had come from, or even anything about his temperament, but this was all for good reason, for his previous owners felt nobody would want him if they knew about his 'past' and even worse they feared they'd end up getting stuck with him.
The black masculine stallion trotted wildly into the arena, rearing and kicking at the air as if trying to slice though it, three, no four stable hands tried hopelessly to keep the stud under control. Trenton stared at the crowd the white's of his eyes showing clearly, a fire burned within his soul, a fire that could never be fully tamed. The stallion let out a magnificent call, challenging the humans, and anything else to try and hold him down. Saint Trenton then bared his ivories, and sunk them into one of the stable hand's shoulder. He shook his head violently, and then tossed the man across the arena. He took off at a full gallop towords the crowd as if pondering about trying to jump the fence, he then made a quick turn not wanting to risk it, and soon found himself charging the stable hands once more warning them to back off.

Riley stood by the rail of the auction watching closely. She watched the stallions movements not his attitude. He was flawless when he moved she admired his correctness. That was hard to find. She sat back in the seat thinking for a few minutes. The horses attitude was one not to be messed with but sometimes that fire created a winner on the track. She listened to the auctioneer waiting for him to start the bidding she might as well give it a shot he was beautiful. She leaned forward once more as the black charged the stable hands. she just shook her head.

The auctioneer tapped his mike, and once finished saying the stallions information, started the bidding... "Do I hear 15,000?" The man waited, but the room was silent, no one dared to raise their hand in fear they might get stuck with the man-killing equine. The Auctioneer coughed once, and then said, "Okay, we're re-staring the biding at 11,000, do I hear 11,000?"

Riley sat in the stands still no one budged to get the stallion at 11 grand she tought for a second then raised her number. It was a steep price for this fiesty little colt but you never know maybe he might make it all back. She hated thinking like this but it was true he'd have to earn his keep. She leaned back seeing if anyone was going to bid.

The auctioneer looked around, and finally someone raised their number, the man was slightly shocked, but to him it didn't matter as long as someone bought the equine. "Okay, I have 11,000 do I hear, 12,000?, 12,000 folks? 12,000 going once, going twice, sold to the lady closest to the rail for 11,000 I hope he's worth it.". [/size] The temperamental thoroughbred stallion stood still in the area listening to the words being said. His side's heaved from his heavy snorting, as he tried hopelessly to figure out what they we're saying, but sadly he couldn't understand much, although the word Sold, was quite familiar to him. Trenton then watched as the humans started to leave, and the stable hands once more charged at him. Saint Trenton reared up, making the men back off, and then sped across to the other side where the gate's where. He then waited for the people to open the gate, but they didn't, no they had opened up one at the other side. The stud screamed in furry that they we're tricking him, just as the stable hands finally managed to grab hold of his lead, and led him off out of the arena egar to be relived for the stress he had caused them. Riley quickly stood from her seat and headed back to the stabling area. She sighed this was going to be a little difficult but she was up to it. She found her way to where they had led the black colt. She slowly approached the colt. her eyes scanning him for the first time. She looked at the colt slowly studing every inch of him. She smiled her was a pretty animal atleast. She stepped forward clucking to him. All she had to do was get him on the trailer then things would be easier.

Saint Trenton looked over to the female human that seemed to be "clucking" at him. Trenton flared his nostrils, and snorted at her, telling the human to buzz off like he would a fly. The black thoroughbred then began to pace around in his stall, turning quickly, and almost trotting in a circle. Trenton stopped suddenly, and soon started to paw at the gate to his stall, his dagger like hooves leaving deep incisions in the fine maple wood. Saint Trenton then turned his attention back at the human, now noticing that she still hadn't left yet. The stallion pinned his auds against his fine skull, and let out a shrieking warning call to the human, which he then fallowed up with a short rear, and show of teeth, mainly telling her to back off, but any person with horse sense would know he was just feeling threatened, and was uncomfortable with her presence.

Riley stood there watching him not moving no matter what stunt he pulled. She knew he wasn't mean just threatened. It would take time but once he trusted her he'd be better. She became silent watching the stallion for a few more moments then spoke quietly. "You do know if you settle down i can take you away from this place." She smiled and just stood there again not saying a word just allowing her eyes to watch over the stallion.

Saint Trenton slowly started to calm down, although his legs still quivered from all the excitement. Trenton flared his nostrils, and snorted. He then slowly began to bring his auds forward, but just as quickly flicked then back to their pinned position showing he wasn't too sure of this new situation. The black colt slowly arched his neck into a curved position. He then began to walk forward, but still cautiously, not yet having any trust for this human accept by her relaxed actions.

Riley stayed calm and relaxed she watched the stallion noticing how he was calming down. She smiled a little. Then just stood there she knew it'd take time but she had plenty of patience and wasn't in any hurry. She heard all the commotion around the stables but ignored it she only had one concern right now and that was the black steed infront of her.

Saint Trenton snorted slightly, and then stopped. He was within arm reach of the human girl, but he was still far enough back, and if he felt threatened in any way he would have time to get away from. The black stud shook his head some, and let out a low neigh to the human as if trying to communicate with her. His ebony black body quivered slightly, in suspense, wondering what the human would try and do next.

She just stood there knowing he was in arm's reach but she didn't want to puch it. She wasn't rusing she just wanted him to be comfortable not pushed into anything. She smiled alittle as he came closer. She just stood there still studying the stallion waiting for the right moment to move.

ooc. Thanks, the second one of him with the white mask was a pain in the butt! That image started out horrible, and even now you can't see his mane. xD
Saint Trenton snorted slightly, nostrils flared taking in her scent. The black colt then once started to approach the human, accept this time he wasn't just standing a few away, no he was actually nudging her hand with his muzzle. Trenton looked at the human with his expressive, almond brown orbs. He wasn't still to sure about this human, but so far he had nothing to fear.

She stood there for a second feeling the horse pressing against her hand. She movd her hand and extended it toward the colt. "It's okay buddy i'm not going to hurt you." She reached to pet his muzzle and waited to see if he'd move.
