Travis hesitated, glancing briefly at the woman, his mind whirling. Should he bid against her? Or let her take the filly? The shy, polite type of guy that he was, he hated the idea of barging in when the other woman had been there first. Yet, on the other hand, the filly was gorgeous... and what would Evelynn say if he came along with such a beauty?
Decision time. Making up his mind, he nodded at the man. "I would like her too," He admitted, careful not to look at the woman for fear he might change his mind if he did. "I offer $3000."
ooc|| sorry, my reply was a long time coming, I haven't had the time to get on my computer =P

... Riley just smiled she liked the idea of friendly competition. She didn't have much to bid with but she had enough.
"I guess i'll offer $4000."
She looked at her boot. Patiently waiting once again....

"Hmm this nice now I might get a little something since her liens are worth it. So $4,000 so far.." He waited for thr mans reply or would he back down?
Fleet Goddess hafl reared her skullary flund through the air as she pranced on the end of the line, her gorgeous peltage glimmering from the rays of the sun that shone through the wood boards on the roof. Ears erect she listened as they among themselves curiosity getting the better of her, she lifte her dial and stuck it in between the circle they had formed, her eyes glimmering with mischeif and excitement.

"$5000," Travis stated, jumping in with his bid. A smile played on his lips as he watched the fillys antics, admiring her. It would be nice if he could take on the animal, as she would prove a wonderful new distraction after Genuine Risk's death.

The man gace a surprised look at the jump he smiled wider than ever, "$10,000, anymore?" He looked to man and to the girl, while the filly tossed her dial, grunting angrily as she wasn't the center of attention anymore. She finally just gave up and stood quitely listening to them talk back and forth, little did she know that it was over her.

Travis barely flinched at the amount. With staying at the guest house at Evelyn's property, it lowered his rent costs, giving him plenty of extra. "$15,000," he said firmly, his voice raising slightly as he became more confident with his decision.

"$25000," Travis raised the bid, feeling fairly comfortable about his chances, yet not disliking the idea of some competition. He still had plenty to spare. His eyes wandered over the filly again, taking in her beauty. He liked this horse and wasn't planning on letting her go easily.
